Men's and boy's sports leggings

Sewing warm sports leggings for men and boys has never been easier! You are welcome to read our tutorial and sew.

To sew the leggings you will need:
- a ready-made set available from the dresówka.pl shop, which includes a cut-out for the leggings applied to the fabric.
- tailor's scissors
- pins
- universal thread and stretch needles
- serger or multifunction machine with overlock stitch
- coverlock or double needle on a multifunction machine (if using a coverlock, we recommend using elastic thread on the presser foot shank)

THE SET DOES NOT INCLUDE AN ELASTIC BAND!

1. Cut out:
- 2x leg
- 1x gusset

2. Lay the legs right sides together and sew at the front and back of undercut sections.

3. Pin the gusset to the crotch of the front legs and then sew (the more convex part of the gusset is to be pinned to the front of the leggings).

4. Pin the middle of the crotch to the crotch seam of the back legs, then pin the edges of the legs together all the way around. Sew along from the bottom of one leg through the middle of the crotch to the bottom of the other leg.

5. Fit the elastic to the waist of the future leggings owner. Sew the elastic together to form a band and mark out four equal sections on it.

6. Mark out the centers of the tops of the legs of the leggings.

7. Fasten the elastic and leggings together. Use the points that you marked on the elastic and on the leggings to do this.

8. Stretch the elastic between the designated points and sew it to the leggings.

9. Wrap the top of the leggings with the sewn elastic to the center, clip and sew. We recommend using a coverlock.

10. Tuck up the bottoms of the legs for about 2cm and sew on a coverlock or double needle on a multifunction machine and you will have the lower part of the leggings ready.

BOYS' LEGGINGS

All that's left to do is pull in the elastic, adjust the length, sew it together, then sew the tunnel and you're done!
