PENCIL DRESS "ALISA"
- multifunction machine,
- Janome MyLock 744D serger,
- knitting sewing needles
- scissors, circular cutter (makes cutting much faster, including on curves), pins, clothespins and a centimeter

PREPARATION
1. Cut out the elements of the dress from the pattern:
- 1x front
- 1x back
- 2x sleeve
- 1x neckline pleat
SEWING
2. Using pins or clothespins, pin the front and back of the dress together at the shoulders (right side to right side). Sew the dress at the shoulders.
3. Fold the sleeve in half, it is symmetrical. At the top of the sleeve (the sphere) make a cut marking its center.
4. Fasten the sleeve with the dress. Start by pinning the center of the sphere with the shoulder seam. Then pin the bottom of one curve of the sphere of the sleeve with the bottom of the armpit curve of the dress. Do the same on the other side.
5. Align and pin the sections between the clothespins, and then sew them together.
6. Pin the sleeve and the side of the dress (front with back) together and sew them, starting from the bottom of the sleeve and ending at the bottom of the dress.
TUCKING
7. If you have a Coverlock then use it to tuck the bottom of the dress and the sleeves. If you don't, we recommend that you hem them on the serger and then tuck them in about 2cm on the multifunction machine.
PLEAT
8. Sew the pleat of the neckline together (shorter sides). Fold it along the longer edge, left side to left. Pin the connection of the pleat exactly in the middle of the back of the dress. While stretching, pin the pleat to the neckline, then sew it and quilt it. We recommend using elastic threads in the bottom bobbin of the machine for the quilting.
