THE BOTTLE COVER

You can never have too many holiday accessories! Meet the DIY kit that lets you sew two stylish wine bottle covers. They are perfect if you don't know how to wrap a bottle of fine wine you want to gift to someone! Made from a fantastic linen-look fabric that isn't afraid of any (potential) stains.

You will need:
- DIY kit from our store
- multi-function sewing machine, overlocker
- sewing accessories (tailor's chalk, pins, scissors, seam ripper)

Before starting work, please remember – DO NOT WASH THE PANEL, as this is very important. Washing the kit before sewing may cause the individual cut-out pieces to warp and no longer fit together properly. Therefore, only wash it after the project is completely sewn.

1. Cut out the cover elements.
2. Fold and sew the ties.
3. Turn the ties right side out, align them, and topstitch along the edge.

4. Overlock the top edge of the cover. Then attach the ties at the appropriate height. For a classic wine bottle, this is about 22 cm from the top edge of the cover.

5. Fold the cover right sides together and sew the side seam.

6. Sew on the bottom piece.

7. Turn the cover right side out, fold the top edge to the inside (adjust the hem), and stitch all the way around.

Done!
