SINGLE JERSEY WITH ELASTANE – CLASSIC

Single Jersey with elastane is an exceptionally soft, single-layer cotton knit fabric. Compared to standard fabrics of this type, it boasts excellent elasticity, smoothness, and exceptional color and shape retention.

The fabric is double-sided, incredibly comfortable against the skin, and adapts perfectly to the body. The addition of elastane allows the material to move with the body, resisting permanent stretching and quickly returning to its original shape. It's an excellent choice as a base for everyday clothing designed for maximum freedom of movement, lightweight comfort, and a flawless look. The material is suitable for classic T-shirts, tops, long sleeves, fitted bodysuits, comfortable everyday dresses, leggings, and year-round clothing for children and babies.

Sewing Tips:

When working with classic jersey with elastane, it is recommended to use a dedicated knit needle (Jersey or Stretch type) with a gauge appropriate to the weight of the fabric (usually 75-85). The ball-shaped needle tip glides smoothly between the fibers, protecting the fabric from damage and the formation of loops. Use an elastic or overlock stitch for sewing.

When you buy a few pieces of fabric, you will always get it in one piece. However, for purchases over 3 meters (6 pieces) we reserve the right to deliver the fabric in sections, so if your order has to be split you will always receive more fabric than you ordered and no section is shorter than 1, 2 m.
