FABRIC WITH CUSTOM PRINT - single jersey
Product description
In order to obtain the best quality of the finished product, we recommend not printing with a dark background on natural materials (cotton, viscose, linen)
Single jersey with elastane is a soft, stretchy and very pleasant-to-the-touch knit fabric that moulds beautifully to the body and offers a high level of comfort. Thanks to its high cotton content, the fabric allows the skin to breathe, whilst the addition of elastane ensures it moves with you and retains its shape.
It is a versatile fabric that works well in both casual and more fitted designs. It is lightweight, springy and easy to sew, which is why it is a popular choice for both those new to sewing and professional tailoring workshops.
The print has been applied using digital printing, ensuring the pattern is durable, rich in colour and resistant to wear and tear during use.
Uses:
Single jersey with elastane is ideal for making T-shirts, blouses, tops, lightweight sweatshirts, leggings, children’s clothing, pyjamas, hats, neck warmers, scarves and fitted dresses. It also works very well as a lining in stretch garments and as a finishing element, e.g. cuffs or hood trims.
Recommended needles:
For sewing single jersey with elastane, we recommend Jersey or Stretch needles in sizes 75–90. These ensure an even stitch, protect the knitted fabric fibres from damage and produce an attractive finish.
AND NOW THE MOST IMPORTANT: How to prepare a file for printing on the material?
We accept files in .jpg, .png, .tiff formats (with LZW compression), the file should have layers connected and fonts converted to curves/rasterized.
The file should have: a minimum of 150 DPI (300 DPI is better quality but larger file sizes), their size cannot exceed 10,000 x 10,000 px, and their weight cannot exceed 25 MB.
Before uploading a pattern, make sure there are no pixels or unwanted elements
because we do not interfere with the files and print them as we receive them (and in accordance with the settings in the order).
We print patterns on materials in the CMYK (for polyester) or RGB (for cotton) color palette.
(for CMYK black 60/40/40/100 or 40/40/40/100 for rgb #000000)).
This is important when preparing the file for printing because the colors displayed on the monitor may differ from the colors printed on the material.
The final color of the print also varies depending on the base material on which the pattern will be printed.
We remind you that the file should be reportable (seamless graphics - the next copy on the edge will connect to the previous one) - unless the file is prepared differently on purpose.
Please note: personalized products cannot be returned or exchanged.
USAGE OF DARK DIGITAL PRINTS In order to keep the fabric as long as possible in a shape close to the factory condition, it should be washed only in the mode intended for delicate materials, in 30 degrees, without the use of softeners. Washing on the left side is also recommended. In addition, due to the natural process of abrading the surface of the material, avoid using in products prone to rubbing (eg pants for young children).
When you buy a few pieces of fabric, you will always get it in one piece. However, for purchases over 3 meters (6 pieces) we reserve the right to deliver the fabric in sections, so if your order has to be split you will always receive more fabric than you ordered and no section is shorter than 1, 2 m.
