‘Mia’ Dress Sewing Kit

The ‘Mia’ dress is an exceptionally girly design, perfect for both everyday wear and family celebrations. The flared skirt flows beautifully when in motion, whilst the practical pockets concealed in the side seams add comfort and functionality to the dress.

All pattern pieces have been printed directly onto the fabric, so all you need to do is cut them out and sew them together. This makes sewing a convenient and enjoyable experience, even for those just starting out on their journey into making clothes.

Fabric:

The kit is made from high-quality ITY jersey with elastane. The fabric is extremely smooth, stretchy and has good grip; it feels similar to cotton to the touch. It belongs to a new generation of fabrics utilising twisted polyester fibre.

Recommended needles:

For sewing jersey fabric containing elastane, it is best to use jersey needles or stretch needles in sizes 75–80. These allow you to achieve a neat stitch without damaging the fabric fibres.
