    Japanese shopper-bag

Did you find such a panel in your order? Lucky you, this is a gift from us, from which you will sew a unique handbag, not available in regular sales. We printed it on soft and very durable velour. You will only need a multifunction machine to sew it, but if you have a serger, you can also use it.

Before proceeding, remember this is very important - DO NOT wash the panel before sewing. Washing such a set before sewing can cause that after cutting the individual elements will not fit together, they will be crooked. Therefore, wash only after sewing the set.

    1. Cut out the bag elements.

    2. Fold the pieces together, right side to right side, and sew the bottom (the whole arc).

    3. Tuck the sides of the bag (handles) inward and quilt across the top. We recommend using a zigzag stitch. We also tested the option in which we hemmed the edges on a serger, tucked it to the center and quilted with a straight stitch. Unfortunately, this solution does not work well with such curves :(

    4. Sew the handles of the handbag together. Note, do not join the handles on the same side of the bag! Sew together the handles that are opposite each other, that is, short with short, long with long. Quilt the resulting seam allowance.

We're still dreaming of some original tassel for decoration, how about you?

    Have a successful sewing!
